Experiment Content :

The robot arm production cell should consist of a rugged stepper motor-controlled 3 degrees of freedom arm bolted to a base plate and supplied with an activity mat that provides a range of exercises to replicate an industrial robot arm.
The instructional guide should include worksheets in pendant, G code, API, and microcontroller programming, sensors and actuators, kinematics, and more.
The user can connect the robot arm production cell to their hardware platform, such as Windows PC, Android mobile, or Raspberry Pi/Linux device.
They can then program using various programming IDEs, including Flow Code, App Inventor, C++, VB, C#, Python, LabVIEW, or their own industrial PLC.

The connection should be made through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, enabling the system to be used as part of a remote lab.
With base, shoulder, and elbow rotation and a functional gripper, the arm delivers fast, accurate, and repeatable movement. The stepper motor-driven arm achieves an accuracy of 0.04 degrees per step and <0.5mm XYZ.
The kit should include several colored counters, which the arm can move to different locations within the work cell for studying pick-and-place and sorting technology.

At the Robot Designer Level, the kit aims to give students interested in mechatronic system design the opportunity to program the robot arm for base-level functions, which can then be leveraged by high-level programming languages.
