The AVR Trainer is a sophisticated and compact electronic device designed for automatic voltage control in alternator excitation systems. Encased in a durable hard plastic box with a transparent front cover, it ensures both reliability and ease of monitoring through its visible controls and signaling spy lamps. Equipped with 4mm safety connectors for all input and output terminals, the device operates on a nominal input range of 100 to 490 VAC at 50/60 Hz, sourced from the three-phase output of the alternator. Its output delivers up to 100 VDC at a maximum current of 10A.

The trainer features internal controls for voltage adjustment, stability, frequency regulation, and current regulation, complemented by an external precision voltage control potentiometer for enhanced functionality. Robust protections are integrated to safeguard against over-excitation in low-frequency conditions, overvoltage, and overtemperature, supported by an ultrafast fuse. Signaling LEDs provide clear indications for overvoltage protection, under-frequency, Imax, and overtemperature states. With dimensions of 220 x 170 x 110, this compact and reliable device is an essential tool for efficient voltage regulation in alternator systems.
