Frequency Modulation Trainer
The Frequency Modulation Trainer is an educational module
designed to demonstrate the principles of frequency modulation
(FM) and its applications. It includes both a modulator and
a demodulator module, specifically utilizing the MC4046 FM
Modulator & Demodulator, which operates with a carrier
signal of 20 kHz and an audio signal of 1 kHz. Additionally,
the system features an LM566 FM Modulator and LM565 FM
Demodulator, capable of handling audio signals within the
range of 500 Hz to 700 Hz.
Function Generator & DC Power Supply Module:
This module offers versatile waveform generation, including
sine, triangle, square, and TTL pulses, with an amplitude
exceeding 10 Vpp and an impedance of 50Ω ± 10%. The duty
cycle is adjustable between 30% to 60%, allowing for dynamic
signal manipulation.
Display and Frequency Control:
Equipped with a 6-digit LED display, the frequency range
spans from 10 Hz to 100 kHz (4 ranges) and 100 Hz to 1 MHz
(4 ranges), providing users with accurate readings.
Frequency control features separate coarse and fine tuning
options for precise adjustments.

Voltage Outputs:
The module also provides a constant voltage output of ±5V
and ±12V, along with a variable voltage output ranging from
0V to ±15V.
Power Supply:
The unit operates on a power source of 220V AC ± 10%, 50Hz,
making it suitable for various educational and experimental
setups focused on frequency modulation principles
